Hello Bob, and thank you for reading my article. Yes, there are some reasons to not use other apple products like apple watch and iPhone. The first reason for not using iPhone is price. As you read, I have a mid-range smart phone, that cost me no more than 200€ about 3 years ago. There are no iPhone in this price range. Another reason for not using iPhone is because Apple pay via NFC is not compatible with some apps I use for everyday payments and transportation. However, if Apple could solve the compatibility issues (that I recognize are due to security reasons), I would go for an iPhone, even with the extra price.
I don't use apple watch because I love Garmin and the extra health and sports metrics that Garmin and Firstbeat are to provide with their products, even if they are more expensive than Apple watch. I looking forward for a Garmin Fenix 7s solar. Anyway, I recognize Apple products are great in function, quality and design.
OH, I almost forgot, maybe my next tablet will be an iPad, but for now I am not looking for upgrade.
