Here are the answers I got!
Like many other researchers and fans of artificial intelligence, I decided to try out chatGPT and ask a few questions. So I set out to find out how chatGPT could contribute to academic fraud. It is true that there are other language models capable of generating text and replacing many tasks of content creators and bloggers, but is it possible to produce academic content using chatGPT?
In that sense, I started by asking if chatGPT could write my Ph.D. thesis. This was the answer I got:
Not bad. ChatGPT cannot write me a Ph.D. thesis, but can help me with ‘research or other writing tasks’. I am pretty sure chatGPT can help me with writing tasks, like paraphrasing. This is not new and other services are already providing similar functions. Anyway, I checked it again with chatGPT:
