Tech Upgrade 2023: Garmin Fenix 7s Solar

The most expensive watch I’ve ever bought…

This watch was part of my list of tech upgrades for 2022, however, I wasn’t able to buy it last year (the high price made me think twice). However, this watch wouldn’t get out of my head, and when that happens, I end up giving in to temptation. In a flash sale, I found the watch selling for €650, and I jumped at the opportunity.

The Unboxing Experience

The unboxing experience is the same as my previous watches, the Garmin box is similar for all models. What changes are the expectation and surprises when seeing the product. Without a doubt, the build quality is superior to all my previous Garmin devices. Regarding the color, I was looking for something discreet, in a golden tone, so this rose gold version fit like a glove. Inside the box, we can find the instruction manual and a charging cable, which again, is the same as all my other Garmin devices. I didn’t even unwrap the charging cable, as I’ll continue to use the charger from my previous model (Forerunner 245Music white).
